I couldn't do the job
All others of my like have done
Victory over me meant
Eternal victory won.


Answer: Jesus' grave.

But Amy (and Melodie on Facebook) both wrote in with "death," and I don't see anything in the riddle that makes that answer wrong.

Amy's answer clocked in earlier than Melodie's, so, to Amy goes this victory.

Leslie didn't even make a play this time.  (!)

    oooooo, maybe it's a dog sled team in the Iditarod? No. only about 15 dogs to a team, 4 paws each so 60 not 300.
    Hmmm, somehting to do with the battle of Thermopylae?? 300 Spartans, walking around in sandals???

    I forgot to put my name.
    Mary Jean guessed a FOOT. Do answers get posted in Mountain time or what. I posted the above at 6:50 ish my time, look at the post time. I was not on the computer at 4:51 in the morning, nor was I on it at 5:51 in the morning, but 6:51, yes. These darn Indians are really messing with me now!!!

    I really truly did post the above, just forgot to sign my name.
